Welcome to the Ultimate Let's Play 2 Baseball League

The Ultimate Let's Play 2 Baseball League, now affectionately known as the "Lp2," consists of current major league players using the current season disk, with the unique aspect that each team has one MLB Hall of Famer on its roster.

The Lp2, founded on May 15, 2000, was a brainstorm of co-Founder, Joe Chapman. Chapman, sick of being in numerous leagues where apathy seems to reign supreme, wanted something different, he wanted a change. While talking to a fellow DMB friend, co-founder Matt Bracken, it all came together. After a few hours of hammering out ideas, it was done. "This league will be a constant work in progress, we are always open to suggestion and change," stated JC, "it may sound trite, but we think this could easily become the best league on the net, a league where apathy does not have a place."

The league currently has 14 teams which span out across the globe. The Lp2 MLB is also a "dues" league, as each team owner donates less than $10 a year in order to help split the costs of this domain, hosting, disks, game upgrades and league awards. Links to the league can be found on the sidebar to your left under "lp2mlb gameday links."
